1. Cooling-Off Period & Change of Mind We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind on generators, major electrical equipment, or custom-ordered items (including installation services, kits, or accessories). All sales are final once the order is confirmed and processed, as these are large, specialised products with significant handling and compliance requirements.
2. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Products If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund under Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue and proof of purchase.
- We will arrange inspection, repair, replacement, or refund (including original shipping costs) at our discretion.
- Return shipping is at our expense for faulty/incorrect items; you may need to assist with pickup coordination.
3. Installation Services Installation services (e.g., slab preparation, gas/electrical connection, commissioning) are non-refundable once work has commenced or been scheduled. If issues arise due to our workmanship, we will rectify them at no additional cost under our service warranty.
4. Non-Returnable Items The following items are non-returnable (except for faults under ACL):
- Opened or used maintenance kits, spare parts, or consumables
- Custom-ordered or special-order products
- Products installed or commissioned on-site
- Gas train kits, controllers, or electrical accessories once fitted
5. How to Request a Return or Refund
- Email info@nomoreblackouts.com.au with your order number, photos, and description of the issue.
- We will respond within 2 business days with next steps.
- Approved returns must be in original condition (where applicable) with all packaging and accessories.
6. Refunds Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–14 business days after approval. We do not offer cash refunds for card payments.
